Implant Range Bone-level implant available in three diameters and eight lengths.
The hex diameter and platform switching are common to the entire range of implant dimensions. This means it is cost-effective to carry a small but optimised range of implant dimensions capable of meeting the challenges of any clinical situation without having to invest heavily in an extensive stock. Dental implants restored with matching diameter abutments are prone to a 2-3mm vertical repositioning of crestal bone. Platform switching where the diameter of the implant is wider than the abutment reduces this vertical change in crestal bone height and is incorporated into the entire implant range, even the 3.25 diameter. The implant platform combines the benefits of a taper lock implant abutment interface and platform switching with the proven restorative advantages of the internal locking hex. 1. Platform switching throughout the entire range 2. Taper lock seal eliminates micro leakage 3. High microthread preserves crestal bone under loading 4. Implant Surface, a micro-textured surface increases surface area compensating for poor bone quality and improving osseointegration 5. Taper threaded form produces firm fixation even in softer bone types 6. Self-Drilling and Self-Tapping - reduces instrumentation and facilitates insertion even in harder type bone 7. Implant comes packed with the cover screw A Root Form implant analogous to root anatomy that may be placed immediately following tooth extraction. As the apex is narrower a wider diameter implant can be used with minimal risk of labial plate perforation or damage to the neighbouring roots. A wider cervical diameter increases surface contact with the bony margins of the extraction socket, limiting soft tissue in-growth, improving emergence profile and tissue aesthetics.
