Transmucosal Tissue Expanders Adaptable healing abutments that can be modified to guide soft tissue healing & develope the emergence profile following implant exposure. Made from biocompatible PEEK they can be adjusted with an acrylic bur to virtually any size. A range of three sizes means chairside adjustment is kept to a minimum, greatly speeding up the exposure process and loading stage. The tissue expanders are seated and removed using the Multi- Driver and pushed into the implant until the friction lock engages. Once soft tissue healing is complete and the gingival contour stable the healing abutment is simply twisted free of the implant using the Multi-Driver. The healing abutments are specifically designed to manage soft tissue healing to establish contour enhancing tissue aesthetics. Made from a specially formulated polymer that permits radiographic confirmation of accurate component seating. The healing abutments are compatible with all implant platforms and incorporate a friction lock which securely retains them on the implant without the need for a retaining screw. This reduces complexity and costs and allows easy modification of the abutment. Biocompatibility tests confirm that the polymer demonstrates no evidence of cytotoxicity, systemic toxicity, irritation or any macroscopic reaction response. These single use healing abutments are intended for short term application only of no more than three months. The healing abutments have been designed to reduce the number of restorative steps and therefore complexity and restorative costs. These components have a a concave submergence profile which promotes soft tissue stability, they can be further shaped using an acrylic bur, to help guide and develop the emergence profile. The healing abutment range and restorative abutments have submergence profiles that match. This ensures that the emergence profile of the definitive restorations conforms to the emergence profile that was established during the healing phase, ensuring the predictability and long term stability of the soft tissue contour. The possibility of cross- threading is minimised by a unique lead-in tip that guides the screw during insertion.
